Workplace Mediation Services
The Resolution Group offers professional Workplace Mediation Services to help resolve conflict, improve communication, and reduce turnover. Timely mediation creates space for understanding and long-term solutions.
Overview
Unresolved workplace conflict can quietly erode even the strongest teams. It often starts subtly, a breakdown in communication, increased gossip, or a shift in team dynamics. But left unaddressed, it can lead to absenteeism, formal grievances, low morale, and high staff turnover. Mediation offers a proactive, respectful, and structured way to address these issues head-on before they grow larger or more damaging.
At The Resolution Group, our Workplace Mediation Services are designed to create a safe space for employees and employers to have open, honest conversations. Whether you're managing a performance concern, handling allegations of harassment, or addressing long-standing interpersonal tension, we help all parties explore solutions that are both fair and forward-looking.
Common Situations That Benefit from Mediation
- Performance or discipline-related concerns
- Allegations of harassment, sexual harassment, or discrimination
- Interpersonal or team conflicts
- Tensions between employees and managers or supervisors
- Difficult conversations around employee terminations
Mediation is not about assigning blame. It’s about understanding what happened, why it matters to those involved, and how to move forward in a way that everyone can support. When done early, it can prevent conflicts from spreading through your workplace culture or turning into formal complaints.
Why Choose Workplace Mediation?
Conflict in the workplace is often rooted in miscommunication, misunderstandings, or competing values. Our mediation process is built to break through those barriers. We support participants in speaking openly, listening to each other with curiosity, and creating real opportunities for resolution.
By taking this open and collaborative approach, organizations reduce the legal, emotional, and financial risks associated with unresolved conflict. More importantly, they gain a healthier, more engaged team environment and a stronger foundation for retention and trust.
Our Workplace Mediation Process
- Initial Consultation
One of our mediators connects with you to learn about the situation, explain our approach, and determine if mediation is the right path forward. - Logistics & Scheduling
We prepare a contract for services and schedule both pre-mediation and mediation sessions at times convenient for all parties. - Pre-Mediation Meetings
These one-on-one conversations (typically one to two hours) allow each participant to share their perspective confidentially and receive coaching on how to express concerns productively during the session. - Joint Mediation Session(s)
A facilitated conversation between the parties to address concerns and explore solutions. Most mediation sessions last two to three hours. For more complex matters, multiple sessions may be scheduled. - Reporting (Optional)
Mediation is confidential. If requested, the mediator can work with the parties to prepare a summary of outcomes agreed upon during the session.
What Does It Cost?
Our fee for Workplace Mediation Services is $250 per hour, which includes pre-mediation consultations and joint sessions. We work efficiently and transparently to ensure the best use of your time and budget.
